In an era of accelerating and often disorienting change, “business as usual” is no longer a sufficient strategy to insure a successful future.  Leaders, teams and organizations, in both the private and public sectors, often find themselves unprepared to manage the increasingly complex issues and challenges that are the hallmark of our times.

What is required now are transformational shifts in thinking, acting, and interacting.  Leaders and teams must not only be proficient in their own domain, but also fully understand and influence in diverse domains and cultures, take on multiple perspectives, and operate in various value systems.  We must develop the capacity to be resilient and adaptable despite ambiguity, and the lack of skills or tools. We must become adept at building alliances and exerting influence across boundaries.
